Select & Better
Select & Better is the highest standard grade available in the industry and has an excellent, clean, visual appearance. Each floor board will look very similar to the next, creating an overall uniform look and feel. You will notice very minimal variation in the natural sapwood colour, very limited small character marks, pin knots or mineral streaks. This is the highest grade available to you.

Millrun
Millrun grade is a mix of Select & Better and Tavern grade. It has some color variation from a mix of natural heartwood and sapwood, and also some tight knots. Millrun grade showcases the true character of the species. Long and short planks, character marks such as mineral streaks give each plank a distinct look. Average length on millrun grade is 25%-30% higher than in Tavern grade.

Tavern
Tavern (rustic) grade flooring is offered at an exceptionally low price point as these products are sold “as is”; board lengths from 10” to 36”, predominately between 10” and 20”. The tavern grade allows all natural colour variations and can show heavy mineral streaks. Small splits, checks, holes, voids, surface cracks and natural hardwood defects are allowed in the Tavern Grade. This floor is designed to offer high levels of product character. Tavern Grade will be yielded from a run this is not a stock item and has limited availability.
